Yabby Lake Pinot Gris 2023 13% 750ml

Yabby Lake Pinot Gris 2023 13% 750ml

Yabby Lake Vineyard can do no wrong when it comes to making stand-out wines. This pinot gris is no exception. It’s refined and fresh with bright fruit aromas and a delicate floral lift. Winemaker Tom Carson lets the fruit do the talking, and talk it does. This gris is seamless and refreshing with great depth of fruit flavour and a long, clean finish. Wonderfully versatile, it will work its magic next to seafood, tomato based pasta dishes or a good aged cheddar.

Yabby Lake Vineyard was established by the Kirby family in 1998, in Tuerong, which is located in the northern end of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Over the past decade, the vineyard has built a reputation for chardonnay and pinot noir of great purity and character under its Single Vineyard and Single Block Release labels. Led by winemaker Tom Carson, the Yabby Lake philosophy is to craft wines that speak of our site and the season in which they were grown. It’s the attention and care in the vineyard that is most critical to allowing this expression. The producer’s vision and dedication has led to some exciting accolades in recent years, including their history-making Block 1 Pinot Noir - which was the first pinot noir ever to win the revered Jimmy Watson Trophy, after 52 years of the award.
