Fabien JOUVES comes from an old farming family in the Causse region. He became a winemaker in 2006 by creating Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors.
Malbec (Cot) reigns supreme here. Given the estate's location at the crossroads of the Quercy hillsides and the Cahors terroir, parcel selection was essential to express the diverse facets of Malbec. This expression of terroir is further enhanced by biodynamic farming practices that respect life, the vine, humankind, and the environment.
The winemaking process in the winery is done naturally, without oenological inputs, and the wine is accompanied until its maturity, in concrete tanks, barrels, casks and amphorae, according to its personality.
