ON THE NOSE
The nose first reveals echoes of yellow fruits and toasted almonds from the Chardonnay, combined with the juicy red fruits of the Pinot Noir.

IN THE MOUTH
The chalky character of the vintage gushes out in a tonic effervescence, vertical, with insistent freshness. The finish supported by lightly woody and saline notes gives the ensemble an ultimate sensation of delicacy and concentration.
Cristal 2015 remains of a sovereign measure and balance, resonating with the limestone dimension of the soils more than the solar character of the vintage. It is a delicate and concentrated Cristal that is emerging, charming and promising.

Made only in the best years, when the maturity of the Chardonnay (40%) and the Pinot Noir (60%) which compose it is perfect, the Cristal cuvee ages 6 years in the cellar and rests 8 months after disgorging.

The most famous wine of the House of Louis Roederer was born in 1876 to satisfy the demanding taste of Tsar Alexander II. The emperor asked Louis Roederer to reserve for him each year the best vintage of the House, which he particularly appreciated.

To accentuate its singularity, this exceptional champagne will be packaged in a flat-bottomed crystal bottle. From then on, it will bear the name of this precious material, exalting its transparency and its light. In the vineyard dedicated to the Cristal cuvee, only the most beautiful parcels are usually selected, to capture only the most authentic beating heart of Cristal.
