A collection of iconic wines to the Alkoomi family. These wines are made from the oldest plantings on the property as early as 1971. Each parcel of fruit is individually crafted, tasted and blended Named after the ancient Eucalyptus trees growing throughout the property and only made in exceptional years, these wines are crafted for cellaring and entice the taste buds of wine enthusiasts.
VINIFICATION
Small open fermentation batches, hand plunged 3-4 times daily, extended skin contact, gentle pressing, french oak maturation, 1/3 new french oak, 21 months in barrel before going to bottle.

Deep ruby colour. Red and blue fruits with a hint of vegetable stock on the nose. The palate is medium to full bodied, tense from entry with bright red and blue fruits, green herbal undercurrents and darker stony minerality. Gravelly tannins keep it dry and driving to the finish.
