Home to the Hallett family since 1946, Alkoomi, meaning ‘a place we chose’, is a third generation family owned winery based in the Frankland River region of Western Australia, an isolated area with a cool continental climate 300km south of Perth. The rolling hills with ironstone gravels and sandy loam soils are in close proximity to the largest body of water in the great southern region - ideal for producing premium quality wines. The family strive to use respectful and sustainable practices to preserve and protect the Frankland River ecosystem.
