AROMA
Cassis, lifted florals, savoury dried herbs.

PALATE
Rich red fruits, dark chocolate, fleshy mid-palate sweetness with fine-grained tannins.

GRAPES/BLEND
Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc.

VINIFICATION
Small open top fermentation batches, hand plunged and gentle pressings.

MATURATION
20 months French oak maturation. 4 years in bottle.

RANGE NOTES
A collection of iconic wines to the Alkoomi family. These wines are made from the oldest plantings on the property as early as 1971. Each parcel of fruit is individually crafted, tasted and blended. Named after the ancient Eucalyptus trees growing throughout the property and only made in exceptional years, these wines are crafted for cellaring and entice the taste buds of wine enthusiasts.
