Slaty, broken-rock, young-wine minerally aromas, with background lemon curd nuances. The wine is light and soft on the tongue, without austerity yet lovely balance and seamless flow. Superb riesling. It has the intensity and tension to age long-term.

Another example of just how impressive the Rieslings from Frankland River are. The colour here is a very weak lemon. The nose is beautifully aromatic with citrus, lemon curd, oystershell notes, spices, florals and a hint of beeswax, but it is not long before it is the citrus which is very much to the fore. There is medium to good length here with juicy acidity, balance and a delightfully lingering finish. So much to like here, enjoy it over the next ten to twelve years, longer if you have the patience and the cellar.
