Mount Horrocks Rose 2025 12% 750ml
Tasting Notes
Appearance
Delicate, pale pink.
Aroma
The nose is lifted and pretty, with aromas of strawberries, a hint of musk, and a touch of citrus and rose petal.
Palate
Effortlessly drinkable and deeply satisfying, this is crisp, bright and refreshing, with balancing acidity that carries the lively fruit through a long, clean finish.
Region notes
Hand-picked from estate owned single vineyard in Watervale, Clare Valley. Certified Australian Organic and Biodynamic (ACO).
Winemakers comments
Mount Horrocks wine is operated by proprietor/winemaker Stephanie Toole, who restricts production to approximately 2,500 cases per annum in order to achieve her aims of quality and single vineyard expression.
Vinification
Taking Shiraz fruit from the Alexander vineyard, the juice is allowed a very short skin contact time where it picks up its beautiful blushing pink hue. Fermented to dryness, this wine tastes of Spring. Another small production that needs to be snapped up quick!
