Reviews:
Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front - 92 Pts
Such an affable wine. Flavours pop raspberry, sweet spice, rust, peppercorns and cream. Juicy at heart and to a tee but with savoury inputs. Drinking this is a pleasure. The only real question I’d guess is price.
Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion - 91 Pts
This has hang time and persistence, but, geez, it leans into its red berry fruitiness and sweetness, almost cloying in a way, and soft in texture overall. Sure, it hits a lot of markers for the variety, so that is very positive, and the overt nature is somewhat a conversation piece when considering broader appeal. Perhaps some crunch and tannin missing from fine-tuning the bouncy offering. Still, pleasure here.
