LARK LIMITED RELEASE WOLF RELEASE IV SINGLE MALT WHISKY 500ml 50% This big, bad release is back and has as much howl as ever. Once again swapping barrels with Victoria’s Wolf of the Willows Brewery, Wolf Release IV takes a porter-braised core of smoked malt and chocolate and gives it a bright citrus lift. Wolf of the Willows IV is the annual benchmark expression of our barrel exchange program, with a solid core of malt, earth, and smoke. For this year’s release our Head Distiller, Chris Thomson, selected liquid from our Bothwell Distillery, hand picked for its ability to highlight, lift, and freshen any finish, even one as dark and brooding as Johnny. Nose: Bright citrus, toasted coconut, caramelized malt, grapefruit, cocoa powder and oak. Palate: Orange syrup, grapefruit, ancient oak, smoked malt, dark chocolate and toffee. Finish: Smoky, creamy and bright citrus.
