A stalwart pinot noir of the region, this vintage we are seeing some darker black cherries along with the satsuma plum and wild strawberry. It's always a bedazzling bright ruby colour, and those garnet sparkles also translate on the palate in the fresh-picked rosella and hibiscus flowers. Oak comes across quite savoury, with some black-tea tannins and burdock-root bitterness. A slightly more muscular wine but with lots of pretty red-fruit lift.
