Sticks Pinot Noir 2021 13.5% 750ml

The destemmed fruit was transferred to stainless steel fermenters for a short cool soak before fermentation. The tanks were inoculated with select yeast strains that enhance natural fruit flavours. Pressed after nine days in order to avoid the heavy tannins associated with longer maceration times.

This Yarra Valley Chardonnay is exceptional value and definitely worth trying. Lemon, white peach, nectarine and grapefruit are the key players here, with a support cast of nougat, toast and flint. A touch of oak helps build complexity and length. Great with a relaxed meal of roast chicken and salad. Since 2000, Sticks has stuck to making wines that the Yarra Valley does best.
