APPEARANCE

Pale yellow colour with lovely vibrancy!

AROMA

Rich notes of ripe apple, lavender, creamy butter and a hint of green bean on the nose.

PALATE

The palate is broad and generous with yellow apple and banana. A slight toastiness complements the finish.

REGION NOTES

The Limestone Coast is a geographically diverse region located in the southeastern part of South Australia, known for its natural beauty, limestone formations and fertile farmland. The fertile soil and favourable climate of the region are core to producing Chardonnay that showcases crisp acidity, fruitiness, and refreshing restraint.

From where vines meet the sea in McLaren Vale, to the fertile red soils of Clare Valley and beyond, we work directly with family-owned vineyards and growers to produce our award-winning wines. Many have been part of the RockBare journey since we took our first steps 20 years ago. Our first wine - a Shiraz from a vineyard near Port Willunga where rugged rocks flank the shore - was the inspiration behind our name.
