This is equal parts intense and frisky. There are dark-fruited and ripe-red notes, mulberries, ripe raspberry, blackberry, some chocolate and vanilla, tempered with rusty iron and earth accents. It’s a polished affair, though eschewing heft for detail, more medium in weight, the finish brisk, but it works.
