Early Scottish settlers first planted blackthorn (aka sloe) as hedging around their fields in northern Tasmania. It is these berries that are now picked and sent to the new Patient Wolf distillery on Melbourne’s South Bank, one of Australia's largest and most popular urban gin distilleries. Here, they are steeped in Melbourne Dry Gin for five months to create this very special drink.

Bright grapefruit and berries are evident on the nose leading to a palate packed full of sloe, with slight floral undertones and a pinch of spice.
