WINEMAKERS COMMENTS
PARANGA White is a blend of two indigenous Greek varieties – Malagousia and Roditis- grown on selected vineyards in Northern Greece. The stunning terrain diversity of the region that combines mountains, sea and lakes shapes great conditions for viticulture. Of course, the commitment and hard work of our partner vine growers is key, as well as the strict selection of vine parcels and grapes during harvest.
VINIFICATION
At the winery, each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. When fermentation is completed, our oenologist, after many tastings, creates the final blend that is transferred to new tanks. The wine stays there in contact with its fine lees for up to 4 months. During that time, mild stirring takes place to enhance the texture and complexity of the wine.
