Like their excellent Navy Strength version, ELLC haven't actually distilled this rum, instead they sourced it from Guyana and bottled it.

Produced from 100% Demerara sugar using the world's only surviving wooden column still (which should give away its provenance), it spent over 3 years in x Bourbon casks prior to be being bottled in the UK.

Expect a lighter, unsweetened Demerara style that will be a change of pace for those used to Velier's more weighty expressions, for example.
