Alipus mezcal first began in 1999 as a "social impact project" with the aim of supporting traditional mezcal producers and their lands in several regions in Oaxaca, Mexico.
That has now grown to an amazing 9 independent producers in the state, all of which contribute to the development of their respective rural economies.
Tasting Notes
AROMA: Notes of roasted maguey, caramel and white flowers.
TASTE: Hints of wood. Good acidity with medium lingering flavor.
ENJOY: Sipping mezcal is enjoyed slowly and with friends. Grilled meat, barbecue, kebabs.
