Alain Jaume Champauvins Côtes du Rhône 2023 15% 750ml
“Named after its locality—a terroir of rounded pebbles on a bed of marine molasse, bordering the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation—this ambitious Côtes-du-Rhône impresses with its intensity.
The color is deep with violet hues. The nose, complex and precise, blends blackcurrant paste, cloves, hints of hydrocarbons, and toasty nuances from the barrel.
On the palate, it is both full-bodied and fresh, structured by dense tannins and enlivened by superb freshness with hints of violet, lingering into a long, briny finish. An irresistible red, still in the prime of its youth.
