The Henschke family has been making wine in the Barossa’s Eden Valley wine region since 1868. Today, fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke and his viticulturist wife Prue are recognised around the world for their exceptional quality wines, innovative spirit, focus on restoring native vegetation and organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard. Fruit-driven aromas of blueberries, blackberries, mulberries, red currants, baking spices, cedar and smoked paprika. The palate is full-bodied with silky tannins, a silky texture and a densely packed mid palate that is seamlessly integrated and refined. There is a wonderfully mineral edge to the firm yet generous finish. Will age nicely. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
