Wahaka Mezcal is produced by the family of 5th Generation Maestro Mezcalero Alberto Morales with help from the community of San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. Wahaka Tobala is made with the tiny maguey Tobala. It is a wild plant that grows in the highlands, often on rugged mountain sides and rocky cliffs. Not only is foraging for the Tobalá a challenge, but its smaller size means a significantly larger number of plants are needed to produce this Mezcal. Wahaka Tobala is rich and full on the palate.

Wahaka Artisanal Tobala is the embodiment of traditional mezcal. Straight or mixed, the balance of smoke and sweetness mark the start to your mezcal adventure.

AROMA: Vibrant but savoury. Nice balance, with lots of brine and earth.
TASTE: Really clean, wet, and welcoming like a summer rain that cools you off on a hot day. Pepper, clay and faint tobacco to round it out.
ENJOY: Sipping mezcal is enjoyed slowly and with friends. Makes premium cocktails.
