“Nomadis is a vinous expression of the Lower Helderberg vicinities maritime/mediterenean climate through a lighter styled red wine blend. Capturing this makro climate and light textured decomposed granite sandy soils best by utilizing Cinsaut and Pinotage from this area.
Both are situated on deep well drained sandy textured soils with poor fertility but high in quarts and silica fragments, elevating a unique site aroma and vibrant palate with light texture (like the soils). Both vineyards are registered as Old Vines and using deep rooted old dry farmed bushvine vineyards like these adds to the depth and complexity, even in this lighter red.
