Vintage notes
The 2020 growing season in Santa Maria Valley and Santa Rita Hills ‚ the two AVAs that comprise this bottling ‚ produced lower than average fruit yields with the signature long hang-time on the vine that makes Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir shine. A dry winter and warmer than average summer propelled the typically long and leisurely growing season in Santa Barbara County, producing wines with rich, ripe flavors and outstanding depth and palate weight. The slightly lower crop yield also trended towards smaller berry size and as a result, great color intensity and structure in the resulting wines.
