Ron Abuelo XII Two Oaks 40% 700 ml
A richly smoky release from Ron Abuelo over in Panama, as you may have guessed Two Oaks has been matured in two different types of oak cask.
Aged for over a decade, initially the rum was rested in bourbon barrels before it was transferred to heavily-charred virgin American oak for a finishing period. Lots of creamy sweetness in there from the initial maturation alongside those char notes.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: Clean, crisp and smooth.
