This special Rum has been aged in small 225LT French Oak Casks, formerly used for high-quality Hunter Valley Shiraz, imparting a robust oak & dark fruit flavor, along with vanilla & baking spice nuances accumulated during its three-year maturation period.
Further complexity comes from three months' finishing in 500LT American Oak Tawny puncheons, adding hints of sweetness, oak, raisin, maple and candied fruits. The second release of the Brix Select Cask Series.
