As the intensity of fruit, flavour and alcohol increases, so does the ‘body’ and weight of the wine. Think of medium to full-bodied reds as the goldilocks zone, where ripe fruit flavours are balanced with underlying acidity, oak and tannins.

TASTING NOTES

The 2021 Shiraz is a medium bodied, elegant red wine, displaying lifted red berry and spicy characters, with dark berry and chocolate flavours on the palate. Ripe, fine grained tannins fill the wine out, leading to a long finish. A perfect wine with steak and lamb. Enjoy now or allow to age in the cellar for 8 – 10 years
