Nick O’Leary Wines are produced from some of the very best cool climate vineyards across the Canberra region. Situated in the picturesque Hall Valley, in the Murrumbidgee River corridor, just outside the ACT, the estate incorporates a modern winemaking facility and a mature 5-hectare vineyard. Since their beginnings, well over a decade ago, the focus has always been to make hand worked shiraz and riesling wines that truly exhibit the character of the region as well as expressing unique personality and style.

Fruit comes off eight sites with 30% whole bunches in the ferment, a mix of extended maceration (up to two weeks) and pressed to French oak barriques, 25% new. It’s peppery, spicy and floral to start. Red and black plums, warm earth and tar, juicy and tangy aross the medium-bodied palate. Textural, grainy tannins and plenty of acidity keeping this buoyant and delicious.
