VINIFICATION
Handpicked. Fermentation – 10 days on skins, hand plunged.

REGION NOTES
Planted by Tasmanian pioneer Dr Andrew Pirie in 1998, Bird vineyard is in the Pipers River region in the northeast of Tasmania. Thanks to the generosity of the team at Pipers Brook, we are lucky to get a lovely parcel of clone 114 Pinot from the Bird Vineyard.

Elegant and perfumed aromas of wild raspberries, rose petals, dried herbs and wet earth. The palate is medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins, giving notes of fresh strawberries, cassia bark and cherries. Delicate with a fine structure. Made from the 114 clone. Pure elegance.
