The 2019 Sijnn Low Profile, named after the 200+ soil profile holes dug to determine the best planting sites, reflects Sijnn's modest yet meticulous approach to winemaking.

The blend features 36% Syrah, 26% Mourvèdre, 16% Touriga Nacional, 12% Grenache, and 10% Trincadeira. Handpicked and destemmed, the grapes undergo gentle fermentation with natural yeasts in open-top tanks and oak vats. The wine spends 20 months maturing in older French oak barrels, allowing its complex flavours to develop fully.

The nose entices with aromas of red and wild berries, salty liquorice, and spices. The palate is juicy and energetic, offering flavours of blackberries, black plums, and herbs. Refreshing acidity and grainy tannins add a rustic charm and a long, dry finish.
