TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE:
Pale straw.
AROMA:
A field of clover, a squeeze of lemon over fresh fish, lychee, wet stone and oyster shell.
PALATE:
Zesty lemony acid, white flowers and salty sea breeze. A touch of sweet fruit tingle through the mid palate. Fine talcum powder tannins, and juicy flavour provide a long savoury finish.
FOOD MATCHING:
We can’t wait to pair this wine with freshly caught King George Whiting from our local beaches.
VINIFICATION:
Made with indigenous yeast and no oak.
VINTAGE NOTES:
The wetter, cooler lead up to a pretty warm and dry 2024 vintage was no problem for the Vermentino.
