This is a village wine from the single vineyard of Le Vaucrain in the village of Comblanchien. The vineyard is sloping and littered with small stones, and abuts and is an extension of a highly regarded premier cru of Nuits-St.-Georges

TASTING NOTE

This wine presents fine floral and tangy cranberry notes on the nose, and a sleek yet firm texture. Never heavy, this is none the less quite concentrated and complex, with elegance and length.

FOOD PAIRING

Best with precise cuisines possibly with chile nuances. Also versatile enough to accompany sushi or baked fish in sauce.
