This is Hellyers Road’s second aged-profile single malt and arguably their finest achievement, to date. A superb whisky that imbues a calming softness, reflective of time spent in premium American Oak. No colouring is added and the whisky is non-chill filtered at 46.2% alc/vol.
A burnished copper glow gives rise to the intent of this silky single malt whisky from the island of Tasmania. The nose detects vanilla and citrus, typical of Hellyers Road offerings, while the palate is seduced with an oily sweetness that lingers in a mellow, toasty aftertaste.
