The grapes for this wine were sourced from the Angove family’s own vineyards and premium growers in the region. Soils are predominantly red sandy loam over limestone, on gently undulating east west ridges.
Tasting notes
Deep red with purple hues. Aromas of cherry and blackcurrant precede herbal undertones. Abundant ripe tropical fruit flavours fill the mouth followed by some nutty and toasty characters and a long soft finish.
