Aberlour single malt whiskies are typically matured for a minimum of twelve years (four times over the legal requirement) in Oloroso Sherry butts and American Oak barrels. They are well rested, meaning new spirit that is rich and luxurious. They still follow the words of their founder, James Fleming – “let the deed show.” Let the whisky do the talking. Their double cask, double depth expressions are a delicious testament to that heritage.
