The Tar & Roses range encompasses pinot grigio through to the complex and tannic nebbiolo (from which Tar & Roses takes its name). The recently introduced chardonnay and pinot noir from Mornington Peninsula adds cool climate varietals to their repertoire. Narelle King continues to build the legacy of Tar & Roses with meticulous care of each varietal, exploring new expressions of the Mediterranean and beyond with a new barolo collaboration landing in 2023.

There's a familiarity here which is quite infectious, a scent, a taste of the Aussie bush that to some might seem a little intrusive. Eucalypt, briar, autumn leaves and earth all mix harmoniously together with blackberry, bramble, aniseed and baking spices. It's warm and all-embracing with sweet vanilla and chocolate notes to close. This is accessible and ready to be enjoyed at a smart price.
