PIERRE FERRAND FERRAND 10 GENERATIONS COGNAC 46% 500ML
A tribute to the 10 generations of the Ferrand family who have built up their eponymous Cognac house since 1630. This is aged in French oak with 20% in Sauternes casks, and retains a freshness despite its rich character.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Honey, apricot, coconut, caramel, fruit cake and raisins. Then develops into nose of rose, orange blossom, nutmeg and ginger.
Palate: Expect notes of dried fruits such as baked pear, muscat grape and pineapple soaked in Sauternes, gently toasted nuts, wildflowers and spring blossom.
Finish: Finish is long and fresh with minty notes, then fresh tobacco.
