Nikka Miyagikyo 10 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky 45% 700ml

Miyagikyo Single Malt is described as soft and fruity. Using less peaty malt, this whisky is distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam at a low temperature. Miyagikyo Single Malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: smooth and precise, expresses malted barley with fine vanilla and caramel notes, and a bourbon cask influence. It opens with citrus fruit (sweet lemon, orange, citron), a hint of beer yeast, hops and smoke, all married with a woody end (light sherry).

Palate: succulent and sensual with mellow notes of oak, coconut and milk chocolate, delicious.

Finish: Very refreshing, with the fruit continuing.
