Well, there was a reason 2025 vintage got named ‘Year of the Birds” as the Rainbow Lorikeets decided to absolutely hammer the Mencia vineyard, sucking the juice out of berries as soon as they changed colour. They sat in the trees around the vineyard, dive bombing down in their masses, stealing grapes. We had to keep driving past to put them off their attack.
