This is another excellent release. There's as much pepper as leaf, as much plum as blackcurrant, but there's a sinewy aspect to the tannin that is very cabernet and, as this variety often does, it uses mint\/eucalypt characters to very good effect; adding lift and life to the darkness beneath.
